THE STRANGE UNKNOWN CAUSE OF PREMEIR LEAGUE FOOTBALLER' S SUDDEN CARDIAC ARREST

IT APPEARS STRANGE THAT THERE IS SPARSE INFORMATION ON WHAT CAUSED A GHASTLY HEART ATTACK ON A 23-YEAR-OLD PREMIER LEAGUE PLAYER AND HIS HEART STOPPED BEATING TWICE AFTER  COLLAPSING DCURING A FOOTBALL MATCH PLAYER. IT SURELY IS CORRECT TO BELIEVE THAT A PREMIER LEAGUE FOOTBALL PLAYER WOULD HAVE REGULAR HEALTH CHECKS AND, YET, THERE WERE NO SIGNS FOUND THAT TO INDICATE THERE COULD BE A PROBLEM WITH AN ORGAN AS IMPORTANT  AS HIS HEART.

The credit for saving the life of Fabrice Muamba was attributed to a heart specialist who happened to be in the stands when the incident occurred.
Ithas been reported  the good doctor became aware his services were needed and he immediately went onto the pitch, declared his medical qualifications and immediately took charge of the situation.
If this was a shock incident there now comes the research findings by boxing writer Gianluca (Rio) Di Caro in which he reveals the Center for Disease Control in Atlanta, USA, states in excess of a hundred thousand young athletes, from a wide variety of sporting disciplines, die each year from cardiovascular disorders as a result of participation in sports.”
This is an astonishing revelation and makes you wonder why medical advice recommends regular health checks and, yet, with knowledge that every year there are thereabouts of 100,000 fatalities occurring in sports there is not more explicit advice on how best to avoid Sudden Cardiac Arrest (SAS,) heart failure?
Almost every doctor recommends sporting activities as being beneficial in the search for good health yet the startling news is that through sports activities 100,000 people die each year.
If there was one particular sport that probably causes more exhaustion and demands on the body the it surely has to be marathon running? People of all ages, including the most senior of senior citizens, participate in marathons but there are no dreadful statistics available  regarding fatalities.
Football is a demanding sport but it is a team game and opportunities for respite from exhaustion is easily made available.
There is no doubt that more information needs to be revealed on the Fabrice near-death incident as hardly any questions have been asked nor medical revelations made known other than he suffered Immediate Cardiac Arrest. The big questions are what caused it and why were there no abnormalities noticed that might have averted the near fatality.
Fabrice will have been insured and the insurance Company faces a possible multi million pound pay out. It will be another major shock if the insurance Company pays out the claim without demanding further and better particulars to place before their medical and legal advisers.
The British Medical Association (BMA) is vehement in its attacks on boxing but so far there has been no comment on why a Premier league footballer did not show at any time indications of a heart problem or disease before becoming a victim of SA . Neither has there been statement from the BMA on the 100,000 people who it is stated die each year from sporting activities.
If the BMA is not on a mission to ban only boxing and has genuine concern about the dangers in other sports why have there been no revelations on what caused the major problems that nearly caused Fabrice Muamba to die and their lack of comment on the statement by Center for Disease Control in Atlanta, USA? ~
