CONFUSION REIGNS IN BOXING AND BOXING COMMISSIONS STAND ACCUSED

The confused state of boxing continues due to irresponsible decisions made by boxing commissions. David Haye is a boxer responsibly licenced by Luxembourg Boxing Federation (LBF) and on a licence issued by LBF he boxed Dereck Chisora who was also licenced by LBF. The promotion was a great success and was the boost British boxing fans needed.
David is not in the Top 10 of either sanctioning body WBC or IBF but he is rated by the alternative sanctioning organisations WBO (#2)  and WBA (#3.) However, Vitali Klitschko is not rated by either WBO, WBA or IBF but he is, of course, the WBC World champion.
There is now advanced talk that David will box Vitali Klitschko. To do this will David box on his valid LBF licence or will there be a caveat in the V. Klitschko contract that he would need to be licenced by the British Boxing Board of Control?
A further question that needs an answer is what if the BBBofC demand that before they re-licence David Haye he would have to  return the licence granted to him by LBF, the licence that made him a great deal of money and through the LBF licence he outgunned Dereck Chisora, and allowed him to claim his abysmal performance against Wladimir Klitschko was a past unfortunate phase and he is a genuine opponent to challenge Vitali Klitschko?
If the BBBofC licence David and allow him to retain his LBF licence then it could be construed as a silent acknowledgement of LBF. On the opposite sided of the coin for them to order David Haye to return his licence to LBF could be seen as a denial of competition choice.
BBBofC could therefores take themselves into a situation whereby its heads they lose and tails another wins.
This is the sorry state a boxing commission has allowed itself to get into and it does not end here.
Both WBO and WBA recognise LBF and they have both rated David Haye in their Top 10 rating
As a mark of respect WBC does not rate Wladimir Klitschko. Likewise, the WBO, WBA and IBF do not rate Vitali Klitschko.
This is commendable and makes good sense. Yet the media is highly critical of the sanctioning organisations, often with justification, and full of praise for boxing commissions; and yet it is boxing commissions who are the architects of the present person made serious bewildering confusion.
No doubt the pharmaceutical companies that make headache painkillers are applauding!
Change is desperately needed in boxing in addition to better judgement and thinking by people in responsible positions within commissions. Obstinate thinking an dogmatic attitudes usually result  in unwise decisions being made.
Many decisions by boxing commissions are career related to boxers and good people working in boxing promotions, this means extra care needs to be taken when decisions are made.
Successful promotions that give a great deal of pleasure to people worldwide and change for the better the lives of many people, do not come to pass solely by technology. They are overwhelmingly made good by people.
Change is desperately needed in boxing in addition to better judgement and thinking by people in responsible positions. Dogmatic and head in the sand thinking usually ends in making unwise decisions.  When this happens a boxer is usually the victim and it is then channeled through to other innocent victims. ~
